The youth exchange “Youth for Peace” concerns the young people of communities struggling from Armenia, Georgia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Turkey, England and Ukraine. We will create a safe space to better understand conflicts and learn together, live and act together to initiate the conflict transformation process.
OBJECTIVES AND TARGETS The youth exchange “Youth for Peace” aims to provide a safe space for participation and participation in the process of conflict transformation and dialogue between communities through conflict education, youth education and peace education and intercultural learning.
PARTICIPANTS ‘PROFILE Youth exchange will include 4 young (18-26 years) + 1 group leader from Armenia, Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, England and Lithuania.
Participants of youth exchange are young people who are affected by conflicting communities or conflict. Participants’ selection criteria:
- Between the ages of 18 and 26;
- Can work in English;
- Curious, open-minded, appreciating diversity and open to learning about each other’s differences;
- Motivated to learn and implement values and approaches to human rights, democracy and intercultural dialogue;
- The person must have a sense of responsibility for their actions, commitment to personal and community development, and interaction with other participants.
The costs for the Turkish participants will be up to € 170.
